About Us
Appy Consulting LLC was formed as a result of wanting to be and find strong, unique talent in less-understood industries where both the talent and the clients can be tough. Appy Consulting works with notable healthcare, logistics, and design/PDC firms to find top leadership talent across a national footprint. Finding the right people with the right grit.
Owner and Principal Leanne Ramirez has over 15 years of experience recruiting top talent nationally, including some of the largest and most successful agencies in the world, to notable healthcare systems as an in-house recruiter and leader. Leanne earned her bachelor's degree in business management with an emphasis in human resource management from University of Nevada, Reno as well as her MBA from University of Arizona Global Campus. She has traveled extensively throughout the country, living coast-to-coast and in-between, giving her a unique perspective on regional talent markets and pay scales. She has successfully recruited all levels of roles in the healthcare space including CNO, COO, CFO, CMO, President, and System VPs, including a Sr. VP of Corporate Real Estate for a large healthcare system. Leanne's passion for hard-to-fill and just generally "hard" jobs comes from her own experiences and deep understanding of how these roles impact the business and its bottom line, as well as a lifelong curiosity with healthcare from both of her parents being in the field.
Why "Appy?" Appy is the shortened term used to describe an Appaloosa horse, which is pictured above. The Appaloosa is a unique breed of horse developed by the Nez Perce tribe of Native Americans, and known for its spots, versatility, beauty, and for those that know horses - their attitude and grit! Leanne wanted to showcase her love and appreciate for these horses as a demonstration of the unique attributes that top talent and top companies look for when making job changes or finding the right candidate - finding that unique fit and tailoring the recruiting strategy towards a positive experience for both the candidate and the hiring company, and knowing that the job, the search, and the move are never easy and it will take grit to make it to the finish line.
